About this site
This site was created to be the central hub for residents of the twin cities to post spaces that they have available to house protesters for the 2008 Republican National Convention and has been brought to you by the RNC Welcoming Committee and the letter A. During the RNC, this site was operated 100% by people who live, work, and play in the Twin Cities.

The RNC Welcoming Committee is an anarchist/anti-authoritarian organizing body formed to prepare for the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. The RNC-WC, composed primarily of Twin Cities-based anarchists and anti-authoritarians, functions as an informational clearinghouse and will organize a spokescouncil for RNC resistance. We coordinate logistics (food, housing, transportation), and engage in education and outreach.
