The RNC Welcoming Committee endorses the plans by the Coalition to March on the RNC and Stop the War for a march on the first day of the Republican National Convention, September 1st.

This endorsement comes with the encouragement to protesters to be accepting and respectful of the diverse tactics various groups will employ.  While some may say that a march is passé, and others may say civil disobedience is a fool’s errand, we hope the same would not be said about diversity and tolerance.  We hope to keep the relationship between the RNC Welcoming Committee and the Coalition to March on the RNC strong.  This strength will be needed, and welcomed, on the people’s side of the barricades.
